is it possible to set a top and bottom margin for the main price chart? it seems when price starts rising the bars extend beyond the chart text area... and if i scroll more data into the chart maybe the bottom/top is cutoff... id like to leave some black empty space at the top/bottom of main chart area so price action is more centered in my display and doesnt scroll off the screen i have been playing with scale settings but dont find anything that works for me any thoughts? http://www.sierrachart.com/image.php?Image=1578794069838.png |

It sounds like the best setup for you would be to use Automatic Scaling, then you can adjust the Scale Padding Percentage to give you the space at the top and bottom as you desire. Refer to the following for Automatic scaling: Chart Scale and Scale Adjusting: Automatic (Scale Range) Refer to the following for the Scale Padding Percentage: Chart Scale and Scale Adjusting: Scale Padding Percentage (Scale Settings) You can also interactively control this: Chart Scale and Scale Adjusting: Interactive Scale Range - Expand/Compress Scale And refer to this setting: Chart Scale and Scale Adjusting: Reduce Interactive Scale Range Padding on New High/Low (Scale Settings) Sierra Chart Support - Engineering Level Your definitive source for support.
