3 new implementation requests? (user-defined templates, display data within bars on mouse rollover, dopdown menus for time scale) 1/ Is there any way to have charts with same user-defined template (with pre-configured studies etc) - like Interactive Brokers? Saves time having to enter new studies for every new symbol 2/ Possible to implement displaying data within individual chart bars on mouse rollover - like InteractiveBrokers? 3/ Possible to resize scale of charts in order to see big picture? Currently eg on 5 min charts or 10 min etc, only can see small selection of dates, hard to see big picture Ideal would be like Finviz.com or InteractiveBrokers where a 5 mon chart can span across 2 or more days.. In fact, IB has dropdown menus for: i) time period (x axis) eg 2 hrs, 2 days, daily, weekly etc ii) time graduation of timeframe in (i) eg 1 min, 2 min, 5 min, 10 min etc |

1) You can save templates in a number of ways. via Chartbooks, and saving a collection of studies to load up using the main menu and applying a pre saved Analysis to a chart http://www.sierrachart.com/index.php?l=doc/helpdetails20.html 2) Chart Values can easily be seen just under the Main menu tool bar, when the cursor slides across a bar. 3) Make sure you load enough days (Chart Settings f5>>Days to load) then slide along the horizontal axis to expand and shrink. Alternatively use the hot keys and keyboard to quickly change the time frame; eg; 1m for 1 min, then 5 for 5 mins, 10 for 10mins, OR 1r, 5,r, 10r for range bars. If you are still comparing IB charts to Sierra Charts then you aint seen nothing yet! :) |
