Hello, I was wondering if you could help me do the following: I have some calculated values stored in Excel (for example VAH, POC, and VAL - as well as others) and I would like to have the ability to retrieve the specified values from my excel spreadsheet and plot each of them on a chart as a continuous horizontal line. Can this be done by using your Spreadsheet tool? If not, is there a way to accomplish this task without creating a customized '3rd-party" indicator? Your response will be deeply appreciated. thanks Nestor |

Yes this can be done by using the Spreadsheet Study and setting it to Use Excel. Refer to Spreadsheets in the documentation: http://www.sierrachart.com/index.php?l=doc/doc_WorksheetStudy.html However, it is strongly preferred that you read this data from the built-in Sierra Chart spreadsheets, for reliability. So if you are able to enter this data or calculate this data using Sierra Chart spreadsheets that would be better. Sierra Chart Support - Engineering Level Your definitive source for support.
