watchlist dropdown menu disappears

i've created a watchlist in a control bar. when i select the watchlist, the dropdown list appears. if i don't click on a symbol fast enough (within 1 second), the dropdown list disappears. it seems minor but it's frustrating as hell when experiencing it hundreds of times throughout the day. this used to never happen before. i'm on v.2017.
