Hi, I wanted to install a daily loss limit for the day. I set this at -100. But in reality nothing happened. Eventhough I had reached my loss of -100 I could still enter orders and add more losses (on SIM). See also attached picture. The trigger date doesn't fill after 5 sec (or 10 or 30 or more). Where does this depend on? I set the currency to USD. And then again the Daily Loss Limit screen say "Positions flattened for today because Daily Loss met. Feuture disabled until next trading day…...etc" But I can still trade and add losses……. Also disconnected and connected datafeed…… All charts SIM1 Did I do something wrong with the settings? already thanks, Anita Date Time Of Last Edit: 2019-11-26 17:03:08

You have it set to Flatten the Trade Positions when the loss rule is met, but you did not enable the option for locking the trading after that. You need to select the options on the top right side that do what you want when either the Profit or Loss limits are met. Refer to the following: Global Profit/Loss Management: Lock Trading (Global Settings >> Global Profit/Loss Management) Sierra Chart Support - Engineering Level Your definitive source for support.
