Dear Sirs : I have been made aware of the need for upgrading to the current version of Sierra Chart (which I realized is long over due re: 1733). I would have done this much, much sooner but the last time I upgraded my version, I lost ALL of my setting and charts and had to start from "scratch" and by memory of my layouts. This time I would like to at least ask someone who might head me in the right direction so as not to have the same thing happen again. Could you possibly tell me which of the two ways to upgrade - (the "fast" method current version or the "Sierra Chart Installer" method) to give me the best chance of doing it right? Sincerely - Rick P.S. I have read this thoroughly : Software Download: Software Download |

For the record, this is the thread you are referring to: Blank Chartbooks after Updating You are definitely not going to have any problems updating. Go ahead and update using the Fast Update method: Software Download: Fast Update Although you are coming from a significantly older version. It is always possible when updating after a long time there could be small differences with settings with some studies. Sierra Chart Support - Engineering Level Your definitive source for support.
