Hello. My question relates to building a chart based on the data of my own table. Say, for example, I have economic statistics in Excel. I would like to draw a diagram in the platform, in order to superimpose it on the price chart of the instrument and analyze the behavior of the instrument. Of course, I can do it all in Excel, but it would be more convenient for me in SIerra Chart I’ve been working with tables in Sierra Chart for several days, therefore, I ask you not to send me to read the same documentation. I read everything more than once. But I did not find a way to build my own chart. What can I do for this at this moment? Copy data from Excel and paste it into a new empty Sierra Chart table. Having chosen in the menu to build a diagram of historical data, I press the selection button, but the program does not draw a diagram based on user data. How can this be done? I would be grateful for the answer. |

First, you can create your own chart data by Importing a text file. Refer to the following: Exporting and Importing Intraday Data Files: Import and Load Then you can use the Study/Price Overlay study to overlay that information onto another chart.
