Hi! I'd like some clarification about the SC historical data feed, specifically the intraday data. I can set the Intraday Download Interval for Non-Real-time Symbols to 20 min, which means that my client will poll your data feed for new tick data every 20 minutes, correct? However, in https://www.sierrachart.com/index.php?page=doc/SierraChartHistoricalData.php#SetupInstructions, point 15, it says that "the Intraday charts will be updated to within 10 to 15 minutes." So, if my client polls your server at time T, do I get the entire block of data for T-20min (past 20 min before T), with all the ticks in sequence? Or is there going to be some sort of a random delay of between 10 to 15 minutes built in? Is the 10-15min delay just for the initial setup? Thank you Date Time Of Last Edit: 2019-10-28 12:54:22

At the time the historical data is downloaded, it will be 10 to 15 minutes delayed. In other words it will be behind from 10 to 15 minutes. For futures it will be 10 minutes. 15 minutes for stocks. You can just observe this when the download happens. Sierra Chart Support - Engineering Level Your definitive source for support. Other responses are from users.
