1. Default symbol quantity does not save after editing global symbol settings. Need to be able to switch symbols and just load basic default quantity saved for each symbol, without having to change each time. 2. Default symbol quantity needs to be set by symbol, by trade service, by each instance, I have just spent hours setting these and it still loses the setting, this is insanity. How can one set it globally across all these and just have it work? 3. How can trade window default button quantities be correctly saved/updated when switching symbols? Have tried saving TWC's. |

1. Describe exactly what you are doing. There simply could not be a problem with this. Provide a screenshot to show us this. 2. Of course it has to be set by symbol and trade service. There is nothing wrong with this. Now in regards to multiple instances, refer to: Using DTC Server for Data and Trading in Another Sierra Chart Instance: Using Same Symbol Settings in New Instances 3. The quantity buttons will remain as they were previously set. On the Set tab of the Trade Window there is the Default Quantity button which will reset them to quantities corresponding to the default order quantity. Yes using multiple instances, and using associated watch lists to switch symbols. Default quantities are not being retained even after updating symbol settings manually. Switching symbols causes changing quantity back to incorrect default. Also TWC config selected is not being retained when switching symbols. |

We need you to show through screenshots, and descriptions of what you are doing to show what you are saying. Otherwise, we cannot understand this. Also TWC config selected is not being retained when switching symbols. The trade window settings will remain identical other than possibly the Quantity related settings but this is dependent upon these particular settings:Basic Trading and the Trade Window: Main/C >> Menu >> Settings >> Ignore Quantity on Load Configuration Basic Trading and the Trade Window: Main/C >> Menu >> Settings >> Reset Quantities on Symbol Change Sierra Chart Support - Engineering Level Your definitive source for support. Problem remains, quantities change unexpectedly causing critical trade execution errors, neither of those two settings fixes it. Simple example, trading 2 contracts, Global Symbol Setting Default Quantity set to 2. Scaling out 1, need Quantity Button for 1 on Trade Window to enter exit order for 1 to close remaining Position. Reset Quantities resets all Trade Window Quantity Buttons starting at Default Quantity of 2, losing this ability. 1. Need to use Reset Quantity on Symbol Change, to ensure every initial position starts at the Default Quantity, but NOT changing the correct TWC Quantity Buttons. Can you fix this/add this setting? 2. Is there also a way or can you add a way set/retain TWC set by instrument when switching symbols using the watch list? Every instrument requires much different settings. For traders trading multiple instruments with multiple contracts using watch lists, both of these would make basic trade execution and positions sizes easier to control and function reliably as expected.
