Dear Support, I would like to verify the exact settings needed to attach a Stop Loss to a Market Order. My goal is to buy in at Market. If the price immediately drops 3 ticks, I would like to have an automatic Sell Order placed (at Market). Can you please specify the exact settings in the "Targets" tab of the Trade Window needed to achieve this? If you could go line by line and box by box I would appreciate it. If you could tell me the same for a MIT setting for 1 tick above the buy in price, I would greatly appreciate it. Thank you! |

Hello? What settings do I need to select in the "Targets" tab to place a buy market order, with a MIT and Triggered Stop attached? Do I need a specific data feed to be able to execute this type of order?

Have a look at the simple bracket example here: Attached Orders: Simple Bracket Example You just need to choose the particular Target Order Type and Stop Order Type that you want. You do not need a specific data feed for this. Sierra Chart Support - Engineering Level Your definitive source for support. Other responses are from users. That attachment unfortunately did not explain what I was asking. Again, my goal is to buy in at Market. If the price immediately drops 3 ticks, I would like to have an automatic Sell Order placed (at Market). Can you please specify the EXACT settings in the "Targets" tab of the Trade Window needed to achieve this? If you could go line by line and box by box I would appreciate it.
