I have a question on an issue I have not been able to resolve. Here is the premise: I'm trying to sound an alert when the Chikou Span crosses the Senku Span A. For the sake of argument let's say that Chikou Span is ID1.SG1 and that Senkou Span A is ID2.SG1 Here is the alert formula I'm using, and which is not working: CROSSOVER(ID1.SG1,ID2.SG1) Why wouldn't this formula work? Can you duplicate the behavior? Thanks. |

I could be wrong but is that as simple as putting an equals sign in front of crossover.

It works for me. What symbol and bar period are you using? Also, refer to this: Study/Chart Alerts And Scanning: The Effect of the Value Format on Identifier Values To see a visual of where the alerts occur, add the Color Bar Based On Alert Condition study, and put the formula on its Alerts tab. The formula will work with or without a preceding equals sign. Date Time Of Last Edit: 2019-09-29 13:23:28
