I recently switched over to the Denali Feed and their CME data from CQG data. By SC recommendation I kept my order routing with CQG. I clear through Stage 5 and Dorman. Today I tried for the first time to log onto a second computer at the same time to try two simultaneous connections and I get knocked off one of the connections. I get this message on both computers running SC: Connection error message from service: CQG FIX Trading / Received LoggedOff message. /Reason: Your session was closed due to a concurrent session / Date-Time xxxxxxxxx Do I have the Data trade service settings wrong? My Service setting is CQG Fix Trading and I have Allow Support for Sierra Chart Data Feeds checked. Is my Denali Feed and CME data fee all verified in my SC Account? Is this all verified with Dorman and CQG? When I now try to log on with the second computer to connect it tries to connect to CQG Fix and then disconnects. |

CQG only allows one connection at a time to their system. You would need to use the TT based order routing to allow more than one connection at a time for trading. Another workaround is to use multiple instances: Using DTC Server for Data and Trading in Another Sierra Chart Instance Sierra Chart Support - Engineering Level Your definitive source for support. Ok. Good to know. That should be clarified a little better in the documentation. So, you can open SC on a separate computer, then a new instance, and get a connection to be accepted by CQG? |

You can set up another copy of Sierra Chart another computer, and connect to the running instance on your other computer using the method documented here: Using DTC Server for Data and Trading in Another Sierra Chart Instance Sierra Chart Support - Engineering Level Your definitive source for support.
