Hello, I was in a long position a few minutes ago with 2 contracts, with an average of 2875.75. In my trade window, I had 1 contract selected, and I hit Sell Bid when the /MES was trading at 2878.25, and then my average (According to chart trading and in my DOM) changed to 2878.50. If I hit the bid when I sold 1 contract at 2878.25, why did my average increase? I have my trades open on orders and positions. I have a feeling this may be due to "Use Attached Orders" being checked when I sold the bid. When scaling in and out, I've always had that option checked. I'm not sure if I need that when scaling in and out - I was under the impression it needed to be checked in order to update my OCO accordingly, based on the number of contracts I have left. Thanks for any feedback. |
