Incredibly frustrated.... I'm attaching a picture that shows 3 intraday charts...problem is the one on the right. It is continually cycling between 120 and 60 minute charts. It begins after I selected the daily timeframe and only stops if I shut the window. I'm also attaching the log file. This happened on my ES workspace friday and now it's CL. I have done a full server download and full reset. Btw, I have ONCE AGAIN, lost every custom intraday chart session time and I must do it all over again. Also note, there is no [M] on the chart. Why not? |

There was no reason to reset the symbol settings in this case. It is wholly unrelated to the problem you are having. Refer to help topic 30.3 here: http://www.sierrachart.com/index.php?l=doc/helpdetails30.html#h30.3 Next time please ask us first about this. In regards to [M] , do you have Global Settings >>Data/Trade Service Settings >> Allow Support for Sierra Chart Data Feeds enabled? And are you connected to a Live Interactive Brokers account? Also in regards to symbol settings, we generally do not recommend using Full Reset. That is really only for special cases. The only recent case where we have recommended that is in the case of TT FIX users to clear out duplicate symbols. We have not recommended using that in the case of the Sierra Chart Real-time Futures data feed users. The reason is we do not want you to lose your custom settings like Session Times or other additional symbols you have added. OK. So you did have Global Settings >>Data/Trade Service Settings >> Allow Support for Sierra Chart Data Feeds enabled? Next time you have a problem, let us know and we will promptly figure it out. At this point though, as long as you are on 1061 or higher, there really should not be any difficulties with getting the Sierra Chart futures data feed. OK not sure why you did not see the [M]. We just did some additional testing and tried modifying symbol settings for a symbol and confirmed that we could still get the data feed even after adjusting the symbol settings . There was a problem with this in earlier versions. Just let us know if you have a problem again. Sierra Chart Support - Engineering Level Your definitive source for support.
