I keep getting a message that there is a new version. When I go through the process to install it it tells me it has been downloaded tells you that Sierra needs to close. I click yes and the screen goes blank and nothing happens. How do I install the current version?

I tried this but still get the same results. I turned off my virus protection before trying the update.

Something on your computer is blocking running the installer then.

OK, I will do some troubleshooting. Can you tell me what folder the new version gets downloaded to? I want to make sure Sierra can write (download) to this folder. |

Can you tell me what folder the new version gets downloaded to? If you are downloading the Sierra Chart installer from this website, where it is downloaded to is controlled by your web browser.If you are updating within Sierra Chart using Help >> Download Current Version then the installer is written by default to C:\SierraChart.
