This is my first try at bringing up a spreadsheet and I cannot get it to display any data. Any ideas? Version: 1056 non-clr |

There really should be no problem with this at all. Make sure you have the correct Sheet# selected.

I have no idea what the problem was. I was getting no response at all, no matter what or where I entered values. Now, when I follow what I think are the same steps, cells get populated. I did move to 1058 but I assume that I am doing something different. A few things do not work as expected but it could just be that the documentation does not quite match the version. In particular: 1) ##HD does not produce headers nor can I find anyway to get the headers. 2) Putting the symbol into column A produces results but whenever I do what the document says and prefix the symbol with a # or a / then I get all zeroes in the populated cells. 3) What do you mean by "Make sure you have the correct Sheet# selected"? 4) I cannot access data from other instances of SC. Like Quote Boards, it does not work for symbols except those in the local datafeed. Does this mean that I cannot use spreadsheets to take data from multiple datafeeds? |

1, 2. This is still under development with the new Spreadsheets. 3. We thought you are using the Spreadsheet study. 4. No unless you use the Spreadsheet study on a chart opened from a remote instance. Sierra Chart Support - Engineering Level Your definitive source for support. Other responses are from users.
