Hi, I would like to do manual backtesting with Sierrachart. Instead of replaying the chart with adjusted speed, I would like to go back some time in my chart, and press the forward key on the keyboard to go through bar by bar, and actually be able to place simulated trades on the chart so I can gather data. Is this possible? |

Yes this is possible. You can just pause the replay and then use the Chart >> Replay Chart >> Jump Forward command. You can set up a keyboard shortcut for that: Global Settings Menu: Customize Keyboard Shortcuts (Global Settings menu) You will want to set the Jump Time on the replay window to match the time of the chart bars.
