I cannot figure out how to put remote data in a quoteboard, which I want to do so that I can use the Link Number to quickly change a chart. Can you tell me how to accomplish this?

I did find the Global/General/General2 setting that let me select "Use Non-Chart Data From Remote Instances", so I can create a Trading DOM with remote data. Am I missing something similar for QuoteBoards?

There has been no answer to why OpenChartOrGetChartReference does not seem to work with remote data (4328). Is there anywhere that summarizes what works and what does not work with remote data. Am I going to be able to cancel my IB data fees or is it still pretty much necessary to keep data on the trading instance in order to get full functionality in SC?

I want a Quoteboard and a set of linked charts. I see no way to accomplish this unless the data is coming from the local instance of SC. Can someone explain how to accomplish this most simple of tasks?

It is possible to get some linkage to remote data by opening a chart with a remote symbol then add that symbol to the QuoteBoard. The QuoteBoard will not update on that line unless the symbol happens to also be available on the local feed. If any symbols are entered in the QuoteBoard that are not available from the same remote data feed the chart, the chart will go blank when the line is clicked.

It seems as though the chart will only look for a linked symbol using the datafeed that it is currently using. It does not seem as though there is a way to click on a link and make a chart change from one data feed to another.
