SC performs the data integration of separate futures contracts into one continuous data series aka continuous contract but the symbol for such continuous contract is always the one for the current contract

on the other hand in Alert Manager when setting Symbol Alerts we have to use the latest futures symbol too

is there any way to ensure that either a universal futures symbol for continuous contract can be used within SC and hence the Alert Manager or the Alert Manager itself can rollover the futures symbols for current/enabled alerts?

Changing symbols manually for gazzilions of alerts would be extreamely inefficient

the data feed is the SC data feed

The problem with this, is that the pricing is different between the contract months, so the alerts may not even make sense anymore if they are rolled over to the next contract month.

in many cases it does make sense (even with the offset prices of the next/new contract) and more to the point, that should be left at the discretion of the trader aka SC product user
