Study/Chart Alerts And Scanning - Syntax question

Dear SC support team,

What would be the syntax for an alert formula that would call a ID#.SG# in another chart that the chart the alert is on ?

Besides, is it normal that a SG# that is set to ignore in a study cannot be used to set an alert? The alert is not fuctionning when I use such a SG#.

It does not matter what the Draw Style is. If it is Ignore it can still be referenced. There is another explanation for the issue.
