Hi,

I tried to search the forum for this but came up unsuccessful. When I goto place a live trade on my DOM for YM it will not register the order. If I switch to SIM on the same YM DOM it will work. If I switch to ES or CL and try a live trade on their DOMs the trade will work as per normal via live or SIM. I place the order via a limit and click on the buy/ sell price columns to select my desired price. I checked with my data provider (CQG) and my broker (Ironbeam/ Cannon Trading) and they both have stated that my account, data, etc are all working perfectly and that the problem lies with Sierra. They suggested logging off of Sierra and going back in which I have now done multiple times with no success. I'm currently on Sierras most current update as I updated last week. My system worked fine yesterday and nothing has been altered since trading yesterday. Any ideas why I can't place a live trade on only one market, the YM? Some help would be most appreciated.

Thanks

This is simply an issue with the position Average Price. There are different calculation methods available.

Refer to:
Trading Information Windows: How Average Price for Positions Is Calculated and Used

This is the calculation method you will want to use:
Use First In First Out Fill Matching for Open Position Average Price

To whatever extent this relates to missing order fills (which in this case is not very likely), to avoid that problem you will want to use this new service:

This actually ended up being a system "glitch" I had preset take/ stop settings and when I tried a different one it worked. I then changed back to the original setting and that worked as well. It was a complete fluke I thought to try this but it fixed the issue. Thank you for your assistance!!
