No because these depend on right clicking at a particular price.

of course, but it could be just the price where is the mouse in the selected chart. It would be wonderful for chart trading

I understand your point of view but I would like to explain how these keyboard shortcuts would improve a lot Sierra chart trading for scalpers

The new procedure would be:

1) move the mouse at the desired price in the trading chart (of course with focus)

2) hit the keyboard shortcut to immediately move target or stop at the price where is the mouse

The above would be lightning fast, instead now we should:

1) move the mouse at the desired price in the trading chart (of course with focus)

2) mouse right click

3) go to "Move Target to price"

The above is slow and there is a big chart trade menĂ¹ on the screen hiding the price, not feasible while scalping

I know that I could reduce the dimension of the chart trade menĂ¹ but it is still big and to eliminate all has other impacts in the Sierra usability

thank you

From your silence I understand that Sierra is not going to implement my proposal.

Any idea from anyone also using external software like AutoHotkey?

I would like to support this request explicitly. It would help a lot and make chart trading so much more comfortable if "Move Target to price" and "Move Target to price" could be controlled via keyboard shortcut.

I think it should be a quick win to make that possible from a developement point of view...

Dear Sierra- thanks in advance!

I built a custom trading keypad and I found the "Move Targets to Price" and "Move Stops to Price Feature" in the trading keyboard shortcuts, and they didn't do what I expected, but after reading this I now understand it requires use of the mouse pointer.

What if I have multiple contracts on and have attached limit orders at various prices to scale out and I want to move only the NEAREST limit order to the last price? i.e. reducing my position a little bit?

I realize it is possible to move the nearest limit/stop TICK BY TICK, but it would be useful to have a shortcut called "Move NEAREST Target to Last". This way the nearest limit order just snaps there instead of having to hold the hotkey until the limit order moves to the last price. Unless I missed something, I don't think this is currently possible?

If this is easy to implement and could get added in a future release it would be great. Thank you.

You need to create a custom study which will support this using ACSIL:

I second this request. I noticed that it's possible to place an order on the chart with "Ctrl + Alt + [Click]" or "Ctrl + Shift + [Click]" so maybe there could be a variation on that where the user chooses their key combo and click in order to bring all stops or all targets to a spot. No need to reply, looking forward to the implementation in 2112 Also, I just want to say it's incredible the work you've all accomplished on this software platform. It's stable, the features are vast, it's lightweight, extremely customizable, and the updates come regularly. Cheers!
