Hello i would like to know if it's possible to get a dot or whatever on every candle making new high or low..

I use Daily OHLC single point in a chart, this is ok but it's only for high or low of the day so only once..

Thanks

The Daily OHLC Single Point study does give you a marker on every new high or low.

What you might want is the Daily OHLC study with 'Graph High and Low Historically' set to Yes.

This can be done with two instances of the Color Bar Based On Alert Condition study, and a hidden Daily OHLC study.

1) Add the Daily OHLC study.
-Check Hide Study
-Set the Reference Days Back to 0
-Set the Graph High and Low Historically to Yes

2) Add two instances of the Color Bar Based On Alert Condition study.
-Set the Output When Condition True to Use Input Data
-Set the Input Data to High in one instance and Low in the other
-Choose the Draw Style and Colors
-Put these formulas in the Alerts tab:
-High formula:
=OR(ID1.SG2>ID1.SG2[-1],BARDATE>BARDATE[-1])
-Low formula:
=OR(ID1.SG3<ID1.SG3[-1],BARDATE>BARDATE[-1])

This assumes the hidden Daily OHLC is ID1. Edit the formulas as needed to the correct ID# of the hidden Daily OHLC study

You have some setting incorrect.

I edited post #4 for clarity. Please review.

I also changed the formulas so that you get marks on the first bar of the day.

Use the attached Study Collection on a blank chart to see how it works.

If you add it to a chart with existing studies, you'll need to edit the formulas to use the correct ID# of the hidden Daily OHLC study.

Put the attached in your Sierra Chart \Data folder, and click on 'Point at all new daily HLs-'
