I have studied the examples in the documentation, tweaked session time settings, and tried so many variations in the VbP input settings, but still just cant get it right. I would appreciate some help. Please and thank you... m(_ _)m

MJNK intraday chart using evening sessions. Day 0845-1515. Evening 1630-0530.

I need two VbP studies:

1. VbP for the previous daytime session. The hard part (for me): Visible on the chart only after yesterday's day session has closed . I do not need a VbP profile forming in realtime on the chart for current day. Basically, every morning, all I want to see is yesterday's fully formed VbP profile plotted on screen at the start of yesterday's day session - I have almost achieved that, but it only plots once the current day session has opened and is drawn on screen at the start of today's day session - I guess that is when yesterday's day session correctly becomes -1 in the time index. I need it in place (start of yesterdays day session) before the open today for my pre-open analysis. Put another much more simple way: I just need day session VbP profiles, excluding the current day.

2. Same as above, but also including the intervening overnight session. I need this visible on the chart before todays' daytime session open. In this case, the best I have achieved is yesterdays day session combined with the preceding evening session, so yesterday plus two nights ago. This is not what I want. I want last night and yesterday [oddly, when I split the profile into day and evening, the intervening evening session plots, not the preceeding session]

I have been using multiple charts with and without evening sessions included and using the Study/Price Overlay study. I accept that I am probably missing something obvious in my efforts and apologize for taking up your time. Unfortunately the solutions I find are dependent on the day and time that I created them wrt to session times.
