I have my DOM P&L set to currency using USD.

I have included a pic of my DOM with a simulated long of 10k XBTUSD on the BitMEX.

In the pic I'm 3.5 ticks higher than my entry price.

P&L though next to the entry price and in the P&L column says I'm "35000.0C."

What exactly does this mean and how am I supposed to interpret it?

That didn't help.

DOM P&L column is still represented by points.

What I would like is for it be in USD.

$10.....$20.....$30. Etc. Like NinjaTrader's superdome (attached).

Is this even possible?

That documentation is quite thorough. Why do you say it did not help? There is really nothing more we can say.

One of the settings that you should look at in the Chart Settings is the Currency Value per Tick setting. Set that as you require.

I read the documentation and as an experiment manually set the currency value per tick to 1.

The DOM P&L column is unchanged, it's still counting in increments of 5000 per tick (see attached).

Make sure you select Chart >> Chart Settings from the Trading DOM window (not from the main Sierra Chart window) and then change the Currency Value Per Tick on that window.

I did....the result was the same. Each tick is still in increments of 5000.0C (whatever that means).

This is with a 10K sim position and a currency value of 1.

Since the quote currency is in USD, the 5000 C means 5000 USD.

This does make sense but you are using too large of a currency value per tick. That is not even remotely close to correct. Use the default:
Global Symbol Settings: Update/Apply Symbol Settings to Charts

Whether we have it right or not, we are not sure.

We cannot provide further help with this.
