I pulled a quoteboard on BTC-e pairs: BTCUSD-BTCE LTCBTC-BTCE LTCUSD-BTCE It appears the LAST values are correct, but the BID/ASK values do not show up correctly. I also pulled a MarketDepth window and both the LTCBTC and LTCUSD pairs were bogus. Please let me know what may be the problem. Kind regards, Rusty |

We will solve the Quote Board Volume value problem with the Bitcoin/ Litecoin symbols. We see the problem with market depth for Litecoin. We are consolidating it to 1 currency unit increments but this is too large of a value for Litecoin. We will solve this. Sierra Chart Support - Engineering Level Your definitive source for support. Most exchanges are carrying out to 6-8 decimal places. I would like to see the Bid/Ask values carrying out that far to determine arbitrage opportunities. Please consider getting this implemented. Also, there are multiple currency pairs on BTC-e. Would you consider supporting all the pairs that are offered at BTC-e? This may be a big request, however, I thought I would at least ask. There are many arbitrage opportunties with this exchange. |

You can change the number of decimal places through Global Settings >> Symbol Settings. We can easily add other currency pairs. What do you want added? Thanks for the quick response. Currently, when I set up a spreadsheet and place #BTCUSD-BTCE, the values pull up just fine, but the Bid/Ask values are changing in real time to match the actual exchange's Bid/Ask values. It appears they are not showing out to 6-8 decimal places either. For me to trade effectively, it is crucial that the bid ask values and volumes show up in real time out to 6-8 decimal places. I would love to see every pair that BTC-E offers: BTCUSD BTCRUR BTCEUR LTCBTC LTCUSD LTCRUR LTCEUR NMCBTC NMCUSD NVCBTC NVCUSD USDRUR EURUSD TRCBTC PPCBTC FTCBTC XPMBTC Is there ever a possibility of using more exchanges than MTGOX, BTCE, BITSTAMP? There are 3 other exchanges that offer API trading interaction and several of them have excellent arbitrage opportunities. Most likely, I'd love to see: CRYPTSY.com MCXNOW.com CRYPTO-TRADE.com By the way, I am going to be a paying customer here very soon. I love your product! |

We will add all of these symbols. The best solution for the Price display format is to set those as you require through Global Settings >> Symbol Settings. You need to adjust the Price Display Format setting. For the volume format, there is not going to be enough precision with the storage format used by Sierra Chart to go out 6 to 8 decimal places. When you enter a Quote Request on a spreadsheet you can easily control the Number Format of any of the cells through Spreadsheet >> Number Format: http://www.sierrachart.com/index.php?l=doc/doc_WorksheetMenu.html#NumberFormat We can add support for other exchanges. This takes time though. Do not expect it soon. Will have to be next year. You list three of them. We would be interested in the one that provides the best quality services and has a well-organized and properly designed API or willing to adopt the DTC protocol: http://www.sierrachart.com/index.php?l=doc/doc_GeneralDataTradeServiceProtocol.php Let them know about DTC. Yes, I have set up the price display format. The problem is that when I put a quote request up on a spreadsheet, the bid/ask values do not reflect what is being shown on the btc-e site. Can I send you an example of what I mean? No hurry on the other exchanges. I can stay busy with btc-e for quite awhile if I can get the correct bid/ask values to show up on the spreadsheet. |

Give us an example. As we were proceeding to add the other symbols, we realized that for BTCE that we use a HTTP polling interface for the data, so we cannot add more symbols without the risk of getting blocked as we request the data. If they provide a streaming data feed we can use that, but this is something we are not aware of and it is not documented on their website. We could possibly add one of the symbols requested and that should not be a problem. Which one?
