Is there a way to overlay a sub-study on to a different chart? For instance: Say that I want to put vix stochastic on an es chart (different time frames for each) If so can it be incorporated into the "color based on......" program? Date Time Of Last Edit: 2019-04-24 16:05:44

Yes, this can be done using the Study/Price Overlay study. You will find the documentation for this here: Study/Price Overlay Study There are settings on the Study/Price Overlay to determine how to match up the bars for different timescales. We are not sure what you are asking in reference to can it be incorporated into the "color based on......" program? . In general, the Color Bar Based on Alert Condition study can reference whichever data you need it to, and it can be used to color things other than the Main Price Graph Bars. This is all documented here:Color Bar Based on Alert Condition Sierra Chart Support - Engineering Level Your definitive source for support. Other responses are from users.
