Hi, I'm trying to change the starting point of the 4hr chart. Currently it runs off midnight and every 4hrs which means on the weekends when Globex opens at 6pm NY time on Sundays it prints a '4hr bar' but closes that bar at 8pm NY time, after only 2 hrs. The next bar ends at midnight and the cycle runs off for the rest of the week. I'd like my chart to start at 6pm NY time with the first 4hr bar closing at 10pm and then every 4hrs thereafter (6pm, 10pm, 2am, 6am, 10am, 2pm, 6pm --->) Is it possible to set up charts like this in Sierra ? Hope I'm clear with my questions. Thanks in advance for your help... |

HI, Have you tried to adjust session times in CHART/CHART SETTINGS/ SESSION TIMES On the other hand understand it will be off the regular session re-open if you talking about ES, YM, NQ - can affect other studies based on sessions but if focus is on 4hr chart - session time should do ok, on the 24hr cycle 4hrs fits in perfectly - I will try 4hr myself. Adjust session to START 18:00:00 END 17:59:59 - WILL BE GOOD FOR 4HR CHART Official session time is START 16:30:00 END 16:15:00 P.S. Some teachings state that real value of GLOBEX session starts from 18:00 but clearing is 16:30 - 16:15 - but don't take my word for that... |

@GPST10, Thanks for your message. Changing the session times from 1800 hrs to 1759 worked and created the price charts the way I'd like to see them ! |

This is good. We still have not had a chance to review this in depth.
