Hi support Is it possible or would it be possible to allow the detaching of an entire chartbook in the same way a chart window can be detached? I use a chartbook for each instrument and it would be very convenient to pull the entire chartbook to a second screen and let sierra manage the chart window layout rather than having to do it manually. Thanks |

The method is by using separate instances: Detaching and Attaching Chart Windows: Detaching Chartbooks Sierra Chart Support - Engineering Level Your definitive source for support. Thanks for your reply. I have tried that method before but have been cautious of it because 1) it's a separate connection to the same feed and 2) the setup is quite inconvenient as it duplicates all data to a new Data folder. Are there any potential issues with trading on 2 instances on the same feed at the same time? I have tried setting the second instance to use C:\SierraChart\Data\ but on restarting the program this setting doesn't stick and reverts to the default second instance Data folder. Are there any issues/conflicts with pointing the second instance to the primary Data folder? Many thanks |

1) it's a separate connection to the same feed It is a very fast internal connection. This should not be a concern at all.Are there any potential issues with trading on 2 instances on the same feed at the same time?
