Something has changed in the trade window. Everything was fine yesterday but now when I put in a limit order for 8 contracts it automatically enters a "s/stop" and "s/limit" position for 2 contracts with a note "child client" for both. There's a "Simple Bracket" noted at the top and am unable to change it. I don't monkey around with my settings. As noted, everything was fine yesterday when I closed out the the chart. Please advise how to get back to trading in a straight forward manner. |

I think I may have accounted for my troubles. I un-checked the "Use Attached Orders" box. How the box got checked in the first place is unknown to me but that seems to have resolved the issue. If you have any thoughts on the matter beyond that fix (and beyond any disparaging comments about my person, e.g., You're an idiot:-), send them along. Thanks. |

Yes, if you do not want to use Attached Orders just uncheck Use Attached Orders.

Well, the program is back to doing pretty much what it was doing before and then some. It needs looking at. Something has definitely changed and I can't trade with how it's entering or exiting trades. It's unpredictable. Seems to have a mind of its own. Thanks for the help. Today appears to be a bust. Oh well.
