Hi I have just installed Sierra Chart. I cannot see any symbols when I go to Find Symbols In my message log there is something about updating Symbol settings Then there is an error message that says Reading for an HTTP request failed. Windows error code 18: No More files I have tried the Update From Server button under global settings | symbol settings but I just keep getting this error. Is there something wrong on my end? |

Okay There is some sort of regression going from crossover 12.5.1 on OS X to crossover 13. I moved back a version and things are working... |

I"ve logged a support ticket with code weavers asking about this regression. However it would be really helpful if Sierra Chart support could explain what that error means and what function is failing. |

We need the actual Message Log to tell you what particular function is giving an error. As far as what the error means, we do not know. We have not seen it before and we do not know what Windows exactly means by in relation to its HTTP functions. Sierra Chart Support - Engineering Level Your definitive source for support. kamicrazy FYI: crossover 13 uses wine 1.7(.4) (devel) because of http://www.phoronix.com/scan.php?page=news_item&px=MTQ1Mjk crossover 12.5 uses wine 1.6 (stable) |

Hi Ganz, Thanks for the info. I've already tried running Sierra Chart without the new Performance Enhanced Graphics. No change though. I upgraded to CX 13 because it enables the full screen mode in OS X, which after having used it with Sierra Chart I actually quite like. What I've done as a workaround for the moment is configure everything under 12.5.1 then upgrade to 13. As long as I don't need to reset the symbols I am fine. Not a solution for the long term but works for the short term. |

I haven't used regular wine in years since I switched over to OS X. I filed a support ticket with code weavers and they reported back to me that they have had other reports of this regression in http function. They told me they expect to have this fixed in CX 13.1 and closed my ticket. |
