help charts not updating

i have just downloaded the software. I am really stupid so I apologize ahead of time. I am playing with the charts and realise that since I logged on the charts are not updating. YES I know there is a 15 min lag, but right now nothing is updating. Second, I just opened an acct at IB so I can get data. Is it correct I cannot get live data until the funds clear at IB. |

Ensure that the option for Allow Support for Sierra Chart Data Feeds is enabled on the Data/Trading Service Settings window. Refer to the following for this: Sierra Chart Historical Data Service: Integration with Trading Services If you are wanting to get real-time data from the CME at the reduced non-professional rates, then you do have to have a funded trading account. Hi and thank you once again. Yes, it is that IB is waiting for friggin Northern Trust to wire funds. How it can take 3 days for a wire when they have it same day is disgusting. I blame NT not IB. Have spoken with IB and as soon as NT delivers the funds via carrier pigeon they will turn on the direct feed. Thank you for all your time and replies. Sorry to have bothered you |
