I have multiple copies of Sierra Chart installed on my computer .... (version 1880) Because of the multiple copies I've always updated software versions using the downloaded (Sierra Chart Installer/Installer version:7) file. There is now a new installer (Sierra Chart Installer/Installer version:9) to get the most current versions of your software. I noticed there is an added option in the check boxes (Install Optional Components), I couldn't find any documentation explaining the option. What are these optional components, and moving forward should I just leave that box always checked to get the most out of the current software versions? |

The optional components are for Rithmic and Transact and the User Contributed studies. If you need any of those, you do need to enable that option.
