SC with Interactivebrokers is not using the Alternate Forex Historical Data

Hello SC, i tried to use Sierrachart with Interactivebrokers to trade some FX.. However, it seems that even though i enabled the Alternate Forex Historical Data usage in the data settings, it doesnt seem to use it but still downloads from IB instead.. see screenshot fwiw i am on 1891 |

i just figured that it works as soon as i change the symbol.. so, for everyone else, when you change the data feed setting you have to change the chart symbol as well, a simple reload of data or change of days to load isnt enough. SC, maybe you could put that in your backlog.. its certainly no life threatening bug, just a minor one worth fixing. thanks. Date Time Of Last Edit: 2019-03-30 08:38:42

That should not matter. Change the symbol to what? The most likely scenario is that the download was started before the symbol settings were loaded for Interactive Brokers and therefore the necessary settings to redirect the historical data request were not present.
