Unable to draw VP chart with 100% POC on leftmost VP

I've reviewed the documentation on the Volume at Price study. No matter what settings I attempt, I have been unable to get the POC for the leftmost VP to show the POC at 100%. As you can see from the attached file "Show daily POC 100%," The chart is small on the screen, 650px x 480px, which I think may be part of the issue. The 2nd attachment, "Settings for Todays VP," is the settings that produce the chart in "Show daily POC 100%." Please suggest a change of settings to get the leftmost chart to show the POC at 100% in the 650px x 480px window. Thank you for your always excellent help. Bob McRae |

The attachment shows a solution. 1. To show the right-most VP chart full screen is to scroll the chart horizontally to the left until it stops or use rt-arrow key to stop. The menu>chart>goto end of the chart does not always go the left far enough to see the end of the VP chart to show the full POC bar. 2. The smaller version of the chart does not appear to be large enough to contain all three bar charts, so the compromise is to use only the two right most VP charts. It involves changing the start date of the underlying bar chart, and setting the Number of Periods Back to Reference to 0 to prevent the VP charts from being one directly under the other. The attachment shows the setups examples on page=doc/StudiesReference.php&ID=141&Name=Volume_by_Price#1DayVolumeProfileAtEndOfChart and page=doc/StudiesReference.php&ID=141&Name=Volume_by_Price#1DayVolumeProfileForPriorDayAtEndOfChart, and the setup for the chart referenced in # 2 above. |

We think that what you are asking about is the ability to extend the POC for the Volume by Price profiles to the end of the window. Note that setting the option for Extend Point of Control to End of Window only extends the most current VbP profile's Point of Control. This is explained here: Volume By Price Study: Extend Point of Control The only available option that will extend all the lines to the end of the window is the option Extend to Both Window Edges.
