From your description about new order routing service: "Order routing is through a server managed by Sierra Chart with a FIX connection to Trading Technologies. Overall latency is below 2 milliseconds to the exchange. While the latency on our side is below 1 millisecond, we have increased the latency rating to under 2 ms to account for the latency between the Sierra Chart server and the TT server and also TT order routing." Because of concern about overall latency to the exchange, I have these questions: Where is the Order routing server managed by Sierra Chart located? The reason I ask is that I use Sierra Chart on a colocated server at the 350 EAST CERMAK, CHICAGO data center. Another question, where does the SC data originate from? For example, DTN IqFeed originates from Omaka, NB which adds to latency. |

We are going to answer this question in relation to where our new servers are going to be in the next couple of months. There will be a server in the Aurora data center co-located with the CME, and a server at the Cermak data center in Chicago. You can choose whichever one you want to use. The Aurora one will give you latency under a millisecond to the CME. The market data originates from the CME multicast feeds and this will be both in Aurora and also Cermak.
