1888 slower than 1881 for custom text tool

Hi, I updated to 1888 to take advantage of the trading activity log improvements. However, I am finding that the custom text drawing tool is much slower in this version. By that I mean where you insert a custom text drawing (eg via a toolbar button) it draws the shape quickly but then there is some delay before the text appears on that shape. FYI I have reverse colors turned on for the custom text drawing tool and I believe that is the issue - ie if I turn it off then the drawing appears quickly but if I have reverse colors on then the text is very slow to appear Resolved by 1889. This is actually nothing new. We looked into this and resolved it. It was an old issue (actually intentional design related to exclusive or drawing) that goes back many years ago which has now been corrected.
