I've created a number of control bar buttons for different types of custom horizontal rays to denote key levels. I want to have those custom rays appear with pre-defined text labels already on them (e.g. "Swing Hi 1", "Swing Hi 2" etc), but at the moment when I use one of these buttons my ray appears but I have to manually add the text label using right-click "Modify text". Is there any way to pre-define that text for each different custom ray drawing? Thanks! Simon |

It is not supported to do what you are asking for the Ray drawing tool. What you want to do is supported for the Horizontal Line and the Horizontal Ray. With these drawing tools, you can select to automatically use the Configuration Name as the Label for the drawing. Therefore, you would just need to have different configurations for the different labels you would want to use and configure those into your Control Bar buttons. You will find the documentation for this in this section under the item Labels >> Copy Config Name to Text: Chart Drawing Tools: Common Tool Configuration Settings and Chart Drawing Properties For the most reliable, advanced, and zero cost futures order routing, use the Teton service: Sierra Chart Teton Futures Order Routing Date Time Of Last Edit: 2019-03-20 13:44:26

Will the Copy Config Name to Text functionality be expanded to include the other tools as well? Specifically, I am trying to create a tool config for the Extending Rectangle with a text string. |
