You have the absolute value symbol '$' in the wrong place: = (((J48/J49 * $J$6 - $J$6) * 8.6 - (J48/J49 * $J$6 - $J$6) * 8.6 * 0.15) + $J$6 + $J$6 * 9) * 0.1
