Hi, I have the 2 week trial and been trying to figure out the platform bu had 1 question. Does the trial offer data in real time, just to see how the charts go in real time. It seems to me that I am able to download historical data and only see snapshots of live market data and have to refresh the charts to see the current live charts. Was wondering if is possible to see live data without having to refresh the charts all the time. Thank You! |

Are you requiring real-time futures data? You can use the symbol EURUSD for an example of real-time data. Sierra Chart Support - Engineering Level Your definitive source for support. Do the charts suppose to update or just refresh manually? Also my broker is Interactive Brokers and under instructions for IB I read that even I have your live data the last 15 min of live data are going to be from IB. Since they have no tick data for the last 15 min tick data is going to be missing |

To answer your question, refer to: Real-Time Data It depends upon the symbol. If you have an Interactive Brokers account, then follow the instructions here to use the real-time data from Interactive Brokers: Interactive Brokers Trading Service: Setup Instructions I read that even I have your live data the last 15 min of live data are going to be from IB. Since they have no tick data for the last 15 min tick data is going to be missing This does not apply when using the Sierra Chart Exchange Data Feed:Sierra Chart Exchange Data Feed Sierra Chart Support - Engineering Level Your definitive source for support. Yes you can use that trial. Here are the step-by-step instructions: https://www.sierrachart.com/index.php?page=doc/SierraChartRealTimeFuturesStockDataFeed.php#SetupInstructions You will want to activate one of the CME Group exchange fees for real-time futures data if that is what you want. But you also need to connect to your Interactive Brokers account as explained here for that: https://www.sierrachart.com/index.php?page=doc/SierraChartRealTimeFuturesStockDataFeed.php#IntegrationWithTradingServices Sierra Chart Support - Engineering Level Your definitive source for support.
