Hello, to avoid having too many fibs on my charts, I am planning to use a spreadsheet system alert to get alerted when price comes within 10 pips of "calculated" fibs levels.

My question is what is the simplest approach to make the formula ?

APPROACH 1
Should I use CrossOver formula of the +10 and -10 pips levels ? Can the range in a CrossOver formula be a horizontal line ?

APPROACH 2
Or should I just use a formula to alert when price hits the +10 or -10 pips levels ?

Thank you

The CROSSOVER function would alert when price crossed in both directions so you won't want to use it.
The range of the CROSSFROMBELOW, CROSSFROMABOVE, and CROSSOVER functions' syntax is not price, but previous bars.

Approach 1 is possible but I would use Approach 2, utilizing cell J21*10
