Rithmic Connection Issue

Been having trouble with Rithmic all week. Can connect fine but during the day my chart stops....then I get the waiting for historical data download message on all my charts followed by a historical download complete message on my screen and then the chart catches up....then stops again and repeats. This has been happening multiple times per hour. This makes trading impossible. Any help or suggestions would be great. Date Time Of Last Edit: 2019-01-17 14:54:22

Is this when connecting to a Rithmic live trading server or the paper trading server or other simulation server?

This has escalated to the point where the pauses in data and multiple "waiting to download historical data" messages literally every minute during trading hours has gotten so bad I will say Rithmic is untradeable with Sierra. I will be switching to CGQ as my broker offers that connection as well because I will never give up sierra and switch platforms. Will there be advantages with the TT connection vs CQG ? |

There will be advantages but we do not want to say anything right now until this offering is out. And this would not really be something that we would promote as a "TT" connection. But it does use TT in the background. We just simply would be using TT for order routing because they give us the functionality that we need at a reasonable cost. The data feed would be our own.
