Number Bars - Background coloring

When using Numbers Bars and setting the "Use Separate Colors for Text Coloring Method" option, it forces the background coloring to use the custom text colors. I'd like to be able to have my background colored one way and the text another.

In addition, it would be nice to be able to have those who meet the percentage threshold bolded along with being able to be colored differently.

This is not correct. We do not know how you come to this conclusion like this. This is not what this setting does it all. It functions as documented:

Well, it doesn't work as you say it does.. unless I'm doing something wrong. See attached video.

We found the problem and have fixed it. The one Background Coloring option of Based on Dominant AskVol BidVol to Volume at Price Percentage was incorrectly using the text colors. This fix will be in the next pre-release (v 1863). When available you can update using these instructions:
