Hello, could you please give me the hint or direct me to a study material, because I am not able to solve the following issue. I am using spreadsheet for trading. The bar closes and the conditions as defined by spreadsheet formulas to place the order are met. However, I don’t want to enter immediately. I want to enter when the market retraces certain amount of ticks from Close. If this does not happen and new bar is created, I wait for new validation of conditions to enter. I was considering using order Market if Touched but it does not allow me to define the number of ticks from Close to execute the order. How to do it? Kind regards, Roman |

Really you do not want to have the automated trading system submit an order until such time that the condition is fully met to enter the market. So it is not really an order type question. It is more a case of the right formula but this is not really so simple to do from a Spreadsheet.
