Hello SC support

I would like my chart to show tick increments like a TradeDOM, and to see the uptick/downtick chart pattern in horizontal symmetry with the ladder and use in conjunction with a chartDOM, I just find I'm confused about how to get it set up right.

The basis being I'm not sure if I need to use historical or intraday chart, is it possible to see a few weeks into the past on tick data? and where can I make the adjustments to get this setup in sync?

Thank you

Update: unless I'm looking at a very short time period ticks provides little vertical field of view for the market to trade, points would be a better option perhaps.

I have the ZF 5 year note up as a chart and the price display format has a price marker every six ticks, kind of strange considering one point in the ZF is 4 ticks, is there anyway I can change this.

For example it's currently referencing price markers in six tick increments..

-22.50/32
6t
-20.75/32
6t
-19.25/32
6t
-17.50/32

In 4 tick increments it would display points, it would be as..

-22.00/32
4t (one point)
-21.00/32
4t (one point)
-20.00/32
4t (one point)
-19.00/32

If the scale settings are set to Automatic, then it is going to change as you move through the data in order to best fit what is displayed.

If you want to have a specific scale, then you would need to use the Constant Range Scale Range options. You will find the information on the Scales and settings here:
Chart Scale and Scale Adjusting

Also refer to the Scale Increment setting:

When using the Chart DOM, I find the only way I can get a satisfactory Px scale result for the DOM is when I set the scale increment to be the minimum tick, eg, 0.25 for ES. This is obvious, and virtually mandatory, for a DOM. But not so for a price chart.

Changing symbols causes issues if the Scale Increment was set to minimum tick size.

- Auto (0) Scale Increment doesn't always work for the DOM.
- And fixed from the previous symbol settings doesn't work either.
- And rightclick "Auto Scale the Chart DOM" does not always scale Px to the minimum tick size when Scale Increment = 0 (auto)

=>It would be very helpful if Scale Increment could be set per symbol in the global Symbol Settings.
