How can the Control Bar settings and Keyboard shortcuts be moved to a new instance. When I copy and paste the Sierra3.cfg and the KeyboardShortcuts file nothing changes. Is there another file/s that need to be moved as well? Date Time Of Last Edit: 2018-12-26 16:09:09

Refer to this help topic: Transferring Sierra Chart Settings and Data From Existing Installation to New Installation Make sure Sierra Chart is not running when you copy those files. Those are the correct files. Sierra Chart Support - Engineering Level Your definitive source for support. Other responses are from users. Try to keep your questions brief and to the point. Will this work for sub-instances as well? I moved the specified files but the sub-instance did not change.

Yes absolutely. Make sure both instances of Sierra Chart are not running, both the source and destination instances, and copy those configuration files to the sub instance installation folder.
