Hello, I am trying to use MIT orders through the Bitmex exchange. I do not believe Bitmex supports MIT orders (I get a rejection message). I read elsewhere in the forums that the MIT-Client order type should be what I want to use as an alternative, but when I use an MIT-client order, the order immediately places at market. If I draw the trade in Chart Trade mode, the trade appears at the correct price level (where I right-clicked) for only a moment before jumping to the current market price. The Buy/Sell Triggered-Stop orders work, but I do not want to set a separate trigger level every trade. |

We are doing a test now and do not observe this but we are going to test this some more. In the case of a buy Market if Touched order, we assume that you entered this below the market or above the market in the case of a sell order?

The MIT-Client order types do work if I set a buy below (or sell above) market. I had thought they would work regardless of where you place them (above or below market price). Is there an order type that will work in that fashion? A "stop-market order" is what I want to call it. |

Then just use a Stop order. There are also client-side managed stop orders as well.
