What is the code to use for a simple gap down screener? All I want to do is screen at the end of the day a specific list of stocks which have gaped down. I was using a couple of charting software packages but I had to type in a few hundred symbols to use it.

Refer to the documentation here for this: Study/Chart Alerts And Scanning Here is the information for scanning: Study/Chart Alerts And Scanning: Scanning for Alert Condition Across Multiple Symbols You will want to use a Historical Daily chart and write a formula to determine this condition. And here is the documentation to enter the Alert Formula on the main price graph: Study/Chart Alerts And Scanning: To Enter an Alert Condition on the Main Chart/Price Graph Sierra Chart Support - Engineering Level Your definitive source for support.
