In the Trade DOM there is the possibility to add a line that indicates the previous day close, would it be possible in the same fashion to have the possibility to add the volume value area lines of the previous day? Or simply the possibility to add a horizontal line on the Trade DOM? Thank you. |

Not sure about the previous days close. But you can use the VbP study on the DOM, which can be set to show value areas and POC.

Here is the documentation to use the Volume by Price study on a Trade DOM: http://www.sierrachart.com/index.php?l=doc/doc_ChartTrading.html#TradeDOMVolumeProfile One reason we do not support using the Volume Value Area lines on a Trade DOM because it is too difficult without chart bars visible to know if it is functioning accurately. The Volume by Price study on a Trade DOM can show the volume profile only for the current session, so I cannot use it to highlight the value area of the previous day. The possibility to add horizontal lines on a Trade DOM would be difficult to implement? I think that it would be useful for people scalping the DOM to be able to highlight some levels directly on the Trade DOM, but it is only my opinion ... Thanks a lot. Why not just use a normal chart for this and then enable Trade >>Trading Chart DOM On. This is the preferred way. You can set the scale to Constant Range just like a Trade DOM and then right-click on the scale and select Auto Scale Chart DOM to get a price at every tick.
