I have 2 internal disk drives and one is nearly full, while the other one is empty. I have gone through the process of pulling everything I can from the first disk with all of the program files, but SC data (compressed) keeps filling it up. I inquired about this 3 years ago and have gone back through what was recommended then. My question is, can I install SC on the second, bigger disk, and run it from that disk, while all of the other program files, like Windows, run on the first disk. (cut and paste all SC files from the C drive to the F drive) I hope this isn't too ignorant a question as I am not tech savvy. |

Yes you can install/move Sierra Chart anywhere and you can also change the Data Files Folder where the big files reside: General Settings Window: Data Files Folder (Global Settings >> General Settings >> Paths >> Files and Folder Paths) If you are going to move Sierra Chart though just be sure that you enable this option: General Settings Window: Always Use 'Data' Folder within Main Folder (Global Settings >> General Settings >> Paths >> Files and Folder Paths) Sierra Chart Support - Engineering Level Your definitive source for support.
